The most you learn about yourself is on the layoffs.
Apparently, the "Marketing team has always been the most responsive and helpful one among others"
Apparently, "Please share how you've been managing the budget, it's something you've been very good at that I lack and don't know who to go to?"
Apparently, "When I heard the news, I just sat there crying, so sad about you leaving",
And apparently. "It wasn't obvious to me that we were overlapping in topics, and is interesting feedback to hear".
So funny enough, something I've asked for myself 4 months in last year, something I somehow pre-conditioned myself to expect over all this time, has indeed happened (hurray, intuition!), but for very different reasons. Also, funny enough, after squeezing into a smaller budget and doing my absolute best to save, I've probably managed to squeeze a good bonus package, and as long as I manage to actually sort this swirl out by April next year, it's been a great ride! <3
